The Revelation of Truth

God speaks in a whisper to our open
hearts and minds,
making known the truth of the soul.
We learn about ourselves in this way and
also about others.

Intuitions of truth fall like rain into
a silent space.
And even if the mind is not silent,
the message of the Divine can find its way
between the words of whatever thoughts are
taking place.

This phenomenon of inner communication
is an intimate encounter with the Beloved,
bringing us toward what we are meant to hear,
or know, or be.

In trust, the gentle message falls into an
accepting space. There, it blossoms and grows,
nurturing new life both for ourselves
and for the world.

The Open Door Moment

The 'open door moment' is a moment of interactive possibility with another person or situation where an invitation is present to allow healing or love to go to a deeper level. The perception of possibility must be gained through intuition, since the outer self of another may not themselves recognize the new possibility emerging. Prayerfulness in general and in particular about allowing oneself to become an instrument of healing awakens intuition toward these moments. However, they also require the putting aside of personal needs and fears so that a true perception of what exists for the other can take place.

The world of possibility and of new life exists all around us in nature, within ourselves, and in relationship with others. To recognize new life emerging one must pay close attention. Then, the choice is present to align with that new life through some form of expression, or to close down around it due to fear or self-doubt. At times one's response can involve both opening and closing simultaneously. Then trust must be strengthened so that only the response of openness remains.

Trust yourself and your prayers. Trust God and the soul within all that is always seeking a way to come forward. Trust your inner wisdom to know if the moment is now.

Letting Go

You may be afraid to let go of something because you fear nothing will come to take its place.

You may be afraid because you've been holding on for so long that you've forgotten how to let go.

You may be afraid to let go because the one who has been holding on is who you have been, and who will you be if you're not that?

All questions about letting go have to do with fear.

All answers have to do with love and trust.

The Unknown is not empty. It is a vibrant, alive, full Unknown, filled with love that comes from God and is God.

Instead of picturing an empty space where something was, picture a space that is alive and pulsating. Now, it is covered with a veil. When you enter it, the veil will be lifted.

Then, a new empty space will be created as you continue to move into the future.

This is the path of new creation. It is how one becomes free. It is how humanity will learn to flow with the Divine movement of life.

Choosing Life

This is the moment in time in which all can become new, not from the outside in but from the inside out.

Each moment is a choice made from the eye of the perceiver - how do you hold your life? How do you hold your relationship with God? How do you hold the others who pass by you throughout the day?

These are the choices to make daily, within each moment, within each breath, with the flow of each thought. Let the atoms of your being know that you choose life and love.

What is Synchronicity?

Synchronicity - the unexpected merging of two separate events that are emotionally and/or vibrationally connected with each other that come together in outer or inner reality. These events are brought about by vibrational affinity, not through one's own will.

Synchronicity can relate to people who appear suddenly just after one has thought about them; the answer to a problem one is trying to solve coming into view through some external analogy that discloses the solution; sounds, sights, words, or phrases that one hears on the radio or elsewhere that correspond to one's inner process of reflection; meeting long unseen friends by 'chance', etc.

Synchronicity is an outer manifestation of inner connection, demonstrating the relationship between all things that are part of each other in an interactive network of 'flow'. This network brings things together at meaningful times and allows the Divine plan to unfold according to its own purposes.

In a deep sense, all of life is based on synchronicity, since we are at all times emitting energetic impulses without the conscious self being aware of it, and these energetic impulses find their way into the spiritual matrix of which we are a part, drawing to us those people, places, things, and events that will interact most fully with the energy we are sending forth. Viewed in this light, all of life is 'synchronized' with our readiness to experience.

When things one hopes for do not appear, or when thoughts one deliberately sends forth do not produce the anticipated result, this does not mean that the energetic principle of synchronicity is failing. Always, this principle draws together what is meant to be together. However, we are not always aware of the other frequencies on which we are sending forth impulses into the world. Like a radio with multiple frequency bands, we may have conscious thoughts broadcasting on one band, and a wide variety of unconscious, preconscious, and superconscious thoughts broadcasting on others. Self-awareness and clarity of focus narrows the range of bands upon which one is unconsciously shaping the world.

The great mystery and beauty of life lies in this: that life's unfoldment is exquisitely geared to our readiness to receive it. For better or worse, we are the co-creators of the great Mystery that represents the shape of our life.

Timelessness in Time - 2

No plans, no agendas, no fears, no intentions.
All is quietly expectant, waiting for the next moment to unfold.

Being part of the flow of the timeless within time,
God's presence breathes what is into existence.

Timelessness in Time

When you pour water into water,
which water is the one that was poured,
and which is the one that was poured into?

So it is with time and timelessness.
Both are there together,
inseparable,
each becoming the other.

Living in Timelessness

There is the timelessness of the eternal Moment which is the coexistence of all things, places, and possibilities narrowed to a single point.

And there is the timelessness of living without a personal past - relating to life's flow in the present as that which is most real.

The first penetrates the fabric of time, creating the experience of the Eternal as a living reality.

The second penetrates the illusion of a personal self shaped by history and bound to it.

To live timelessly in time is a gift to the experiencing self and to humanity as well, for it embodies the sacred within human form. It does not do away with relationship or connection with others, but rather enfolds these in the ultimate perspective of Divine Love. It does not do away with the self as a point of consciousness, but rather transforms this into part of the Oneness.

Timelessness and time are not opposites but two parts of the same thing. Time is the vessel. The timeless is what is poured into it.

The World of Possibility

The 'world of possibility' exists within each moment. It comes into being through our relationship with the Divine which is the strongest creative power in the universe. This creative power flows through all moments, yet is invisible to us when we are closed to it - when we view ourselves as formed and shaped by the roles we play and the past we have lived through.

On a collective level, this past has separated the physical from the spiritual and held visible evidence to be the underlying structure of reality rather than invisible grace. Based on separation from the Divine, our collective past has created a world that predicts from the past to the future based on what has been seen and known. This view conditions our expectations and restricts our hope. It also restricts our hope for the possibilities inherent in each moment.

Today, this worldview is being challenged by the new awareness arising in many. This awareness is expanding perceptions beyond the visible and revealing new realities that have never been open to us before. Beyond logic or reason, Divine life and light are bringing into being the confluence of spirit and matter. They are closing the gap between the spiritual and the physical and making what was impossible before, possible.

Our outlook, then, if we choose to flow with the Divine in each moment, must be that something new can take place if we allow it. We can be new, because the fixed identity of the past is now loosening its hold on us. Divine light is causing the heart to awaken, and with it a deeper truth about who we are.

We cannot be new if we are afraid of change or if we believe we are the past. These beliefs must be let go of for they close down the moment and limit the possible. However, we are being invited to claim our Divine heritage, to join with the sacred core of who we are in a unity that has always existed, however unrecognized.

This movement into unity is the reason things can be new. For we are joining with that part of ourselves that has never left the grace of God, the love of God, the oneness of God. We are joining with the higher aspects of our selves and entering the realm of multidimensionality. This is the world of our higher self or soul, now able to express itself more clearly within our consciousness and within our life upon the Earth.

More than anything else, fear of the Unknown restricts the opening of the 'world of possibility'. Fear that the Unknown is not trustworthy. Fear that the Unknown will not guide us. Fear that we will not be led, or shown, or illumined in ways that will teach us how to live. This fear is based on what has been, and also on the transition we are in - one in which a new reality is emerging yet has not fully emerged. And so we are unsure of its stability and its ability to be the firm foundation for a life.

Fear diminishes and confidence increases through embracing the Unknown – through allowing it to teach us, and guide us, and shape our actions and decisions. When we believe in our capacity to live a Divinely guided life, we have already begun to build the foundation for that life. We have opened the doors so that the currents of creative inspiration can enter.

Today, we live in a time of change and of awakening upon the Earth, of letting go of the past in favor of an unknown future. In this movement, the light within all things is leading us toward a life that is fluid rather than solid, undetermined rather than known, changing rather than static. To be in this new life, we must learn to swim with the currents of change.

Today, we are being called, each and every one of us, to embrace this shift and to become fluid. For it is the time of possibilities and the Earth itself is now moving from a state of pain and limitation into a new state of beauty and grace.

The Fullness of the Moment

Each moment contains a world within itself. This world is multi-faceted like the prisms of a jewel whose sections hold different reflections of ambient light, or like layers of light that intersect with each other. At the same time it is unified through the Divine current of life that runs through it.

On the one hand, there is awareness of what is going on around us - the sound and light show set upon the world stage. On the other, there is the internal stream of thought and feeling that contains its own richness and vitality - the life of the mind, heart, and body.

What is outside and what is inside are both part of the present moment, one not more than the other. As a result, we can be aware of responses to what is as part of an interactive pattern, without blaming what is outside for causing what is inside, and without eliminating any portion of the wholeness.

Part of each moment also has to do with our spiritual will. Spiritual 'will' is will united with Divine intent. It includes both our willingness to accept what is and our desire to transform what is into the highest state of inclusion of God's light and love that it can contain.

Acceptance of what is and transformation of what is into its higher counterparts are not mutually exclusive. The first creates peace and a deep communion with the sacred essence of life. The second creates healing and the desire to bring greater light, hope, and truth to a suffering world.

The first acknowledges our essence as part of the Oneness and offers an experience of that Oneness. The second allows our higher self to express as an agent for bringing all of life into a greater state of love and unity.

The human experience is multi-dimensional and is meant to be so. It is about revealing to the conscious self all that consciousness is capable of. At one end of the spectrum, this may be about concealed feelings and motives that the awake self would rather not know about. At the other end of the spectrum is the capacity of human awareness to experience itself as part of God.

Each human being has within itself the knowledge of what, in this moment, requires the greatest degree of attention. This knowledge allows us to see what is with the full measure of our inner wisdom guiding what we see.

The Open Moment

Each moment in God's reality is completely open. Unconditioned, unshaped, formless.

We close the moment by bringing to it preconceptions - expectations of others based on their past behavior, projections onto them of how we think they feel, beliefs about ourselves and what we are capable of. Such expectations and projections close the moment. They attach to it the shape of the past and prevent it from being new.

To live in an open moment one must travel lightly through life, without excess baggage that contains old wants and fears. With no baggage, we become part of the Infinite, part of the flow that is everpresent in which all things are possible and all things are new.

Time as a Gateway

To be human is to live within the experience of time passing. To be fully human is to become a bridge between time and the timeless.

From the standpoint of what we are used to, time flows more slowly or quickly depending on our relationship to what is taking place. Happy or sad, anxious or peaceful - these typically determine how we experience time's passage and with what degree of pleasure or regret.

By contrast, to live timelessly is to feel part of the flow of God's life in each moment, recognizing the everpresent eternal that marks the passage of days. With this in mind, all moments become significant as a witness to Divine Intention; all become part of the sacred flow that emanates from the Divine.

Timelessness within time gives meaning to all things. No thing is wasted or too small, for all are part of the Oneness.

Such is the gift of a life in which personal Will has joined with the Universal so that there is only One who is will-ing. It is that One that we become as the personal self lets go of needing and having, in keeping with the understanding: "God is more me than I am myself."

To become fully human - this is the goal of time itself - to receive, to know, to feel the Divine heritage.

The passage of time, then, can be, for humanity, a gateway - the arena of holy surrender in which the embodied self becomes purified and the soul or higher Self steps forth in grace and beauty.

Response to Life

Life flows to us, through us, and around us in an endless stream, and all of it is sacred. All of it is holy. Thus, it asks from us reverence and appreciation for what is, calling forth from us the highest and best possible response at all times, calling forth our gratitude.

How can we offer this 'best possible response'?

First, to know that we are being asked to respond to life in an interaction that takes place moment to moment. This is the dance of awareness that permits grace to enter the physical.

Second, to know that our response is shaped by deep forces within us - sometimes leading to action, sometimes leading to waiting; sometimes leading to consent to what others suggest; sometimes leading to standing alone.

There is no program written for our response to life. We write the program with each action we take, each belief we hold, each thought that we think. We can re-write the program by making different choices.

Most importantly, we need to take nothing for granted. Life that comes from God and contains the Divine within itself asks no less than a full and complete measure of awareness of its presence.

Today, choose consciously to respond where you may not have before. Notice. Be aware. Everything around you is significant. Everything in you is holy.

You are a holy being bringing your inner life to the outer so that all that is truly One can know itself as One.
